I remember that when I turned 18 I set out to meet everyone. My cousin Grace, who besides being my family is my eternal friend, because we studied together and we told each other all our secrets, at that time Grace told me that one of her dreams was to live in the United Arab Emirate, because for her it was a great dream that he had to fulfill because his brother Jacob once traveled and Grace fell in love with the photographs. At that time we set out to achieve it at some point, the years passed and Grace got a job opportunity as an Engineer, of course she could not lose that great proposal, immediately, do not hesitate to congratulate her and offer my greatest support for success his life.
Grace came to the United Arab Emirate as a tourist and started staying at the Beach Club until she found her own place to live. In the United Arab Emirate she married a Puerto Rican and they formed a family with a cute boy named Harry, however, years later Grace passed away from cancer, a very sad departure where her husband was filled with deep pain. Grace’s husband decided to go to his native country and Harry, who was already of legal age, decided to live in England, since a large part of his family was on his mother’s side.
Two years have passed since Grace’s death and it was impossible not to keep her present, my contact with Harry is gigantic. In an afternoon of coffee we talked about various topics and one of them was to talk about his magnificent mother, the great idea came to Harry and he told me that if I would like to travel to the United Arab Emirate, he wanted to feel his mother closer and in my case , I would fulfill that goal that Grace and I set for ourselves in our youth and also, get to know great places that Harry shared with his mother. Of course, I didn’t think about it and my answer was Sure Harry, I love it! Days later, we managed to buy our tickets and in three weeks we boarded the United Arab Emirat.
Harry had little recollection of what the movement was like in that country, so we decided that we would both be tourists in search of happiness. While we waited at the airport for the flight, we began to investigate some places to stay and have a good time at a beach club.
Hours later, we boarded and landed at Dubai International Airport, without a doubt I can tell you that it was the biggest decision I could have made, Dubai is a city that has been constantly on the rise in recent years, in terms of tourism, economy and innovation. It is one of the most modern places in the world and with the largest tourist attractions, it is considered the capital of luxury and world extravagance, with many titles and records supporting these ideas.
It is a beautiful city, it is made up of the most luxurious and tallest buildings in the world, the most extravagant and extraordinary architectural works in the world. It was a great choice to make this trip, when Harry arrived he began to shed tears, because he felt the energy of his mother and all his memories were activated, it was such a special and moving moment. But from then on we decided to remember her in each place and enjoy that great trip.

While we were on the plane we began to investigate the beach club that we would visit, after so many searches we loved the information that we read on the Azure Beach website, we immediately called and grabbed a taxi for the transfer, we longed to know the place.
During the tour I fell in love with its structures. How beautiful it is! I felt like I was in a movie; in another world, its buildings are of another level, and its majestic avenues. My mouth was open for so much beauty and I was totally shocked, at one point Harry looks at me and started laughing out loud. After a few minutes we arrived at the beach club, my eyes looked up and down at how beautiful its structure is, I couldn’t believe I was going to enter the giant buildings I saw on television.
A chic and fun haven located at Rixos Premium Dubai on JBR Walk, and tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Located between crystal clear waters and with impressive views of the Dubai Eye on one side and The Palm on the other and with a beach with all the amenities.
As we entered they welcomed us with a delicious Arabic coffee, it is a delicious super strong coffee but it activated our energy greatly. The first step was to register to receive a bracelet and enjoy all the beach services, at that time my tiredness was not normal, but even so I did not want to overlook any detail, the first day we decided to stay at the same beach club, since it is one of its great services and Harry had been told by some friends that at night the party lights up in Azure Beach.
When we were assigned the single rooms we went to take a bath, although the receptionist told us «Don’t bathe too much, because at night you won’t stop having fun, I know why I tell you» the three of us looked at each other’s faces but without understanding his comment, what we did was laugh and stay with the doubt.
Before going to have a good time, we first went to the beach blub restaurant, we were starving, the menu looked delicious, however, I decided to order Hummus, it is a chickpea cream with olive oil and sesame.
Super delicious! And I was so struck by the various dishes that they present with chickpeas, well, I also enjoyed some delicious croquettes made with chickpeas accompanied by yogurt or tahitini sauce, basically this dish is known as falafel. After that delicious dinner we went to the central pool, when we saw it was full of many tourists and of course, the music was blasting.
The reception in the infinity pool equipped with private island beds was totally phenomenal, they served us a delicious red wine, the energy that was felt was so great that Harry and I immediately started dancing. Later, when the average falls, the pool begins to light up and the music rises with the presentation of the DJ where they invite us to dance inside the pool, it was such a fun and amazing moment. There, we understood those words of the receptionist, that moment is typical in Azure Beach to party inside the pool with drinks, since the VIP area for drinks is inside there. After a great rest we woke up with our batteries recharged after that spectacular night of rumba.
The next day, we decided to go out to the city to explore its avenues, we grabbed our bags because we wanted to meet new lodgings and continue enjoying. As we walked we felt the strong heat for being a desert country. Harry wore a big smile and his happiness did not fit in his soul, because he remembered several moments of his childhood when he went to the market with my dear Grace, as Harry did not remember the places very well, we asked a shopkeeper where a nearby hotel was! it was a rich adventure!
At one point we stopped when we saw a giant structure, without a doubt, that building called us enormously, it turns out it was the Wyndham Dubai Marina hotel, it is a majestic and luminous place. It fascinated me! We walked in and asked if there were any rooms available, luckily there were rooms available.
From the moment we walked into Wyndham Dubai Marina, I knew I had chosen a special place that is modern and offers the perfect blend of luxury. It offers sweeping panoramic views of the marina channel, as well as Bluewaters Island, home to the world’s largest observation wheel.
After checking in at the reception we went to our rooms and I can tell you that every place I see I am shocked! A beautiful bed, a giant view of the city; at night that is beautiful, a spectacular television and its beautiful lamps, of course, without forgetting the gray bathroom with silver touches, what an excellent decision to end our stay in Dubai in this spectacular hotel.
After our first night at Wyndhan, we went for breakfast with some delicious shawarmas with cream of chickpeas and vegetables, divine and that we could also take as an aperitif to the pool, which is super close to the restaurant. Being in the pool we enjoy the sounds of the trees and the birds, without a doubt, a propitious moment to connect with nature. It was a very nice episode, connecting our hearts with them and feeling so close, we took a picture of both of them and we felt immense peace, in fact we felt them by our side, because having been there made them also participate in this wonderful trip.
After that magical moment, we went to the hotel gym, they offer training services, their spectacular machines and we started training, it is no secret to anyone how passionate about exercising and strengthening our health, in the gym we met Frank, he is a tourist from Mexico who was on vacation in Dubai, explained to us how to do some exercises, who after training invited us to his birthday party that he was going to celebrate in the hotel’s ballroom, he was the one to go celebrate after sweating hard.
At night, we got ready and arrived at Frank’s birthday, a giant table of sweet appetizers received us, and music according to the occasion, in that celebration we met many of Frank’s friends, friendly, charismatic and fun people. Hours later, the real parties began with dancing and my favorite moment, having several glasses of champagne. How divine! In addition to approaching the VIP area of the bar and enjoying the drinks.
The following days became favorites, the areas were extraordinary, by the way, the hotel beds are so comfortable that we woke up super relaxed to start a day of adventures.
We were ready to start a new day of adventures, at the hotel they recommended a tour guide to get to know those wonderful places, without a doubt, the great unforgettable moment was visiting the Premium Safari in the red dunes, it is a spectacular site for an adventure through the desert that includes crossing its red dunes, a barbecue dinner and traditional activities in the majestic Al Khayma camp.
We tasted a delicious barbecue accompanied by local foods and sweets and the most spectacular, approaching the camels of the camp and even riding them and traveling through the entire desert.
It was a super fantastic moment and feeling the Arab air so close. While staying at the camp, tourists smoked hookahs, got henna tattoos, and met the falcon expert and his trusty bird of prey. This site is filled with a lot of history, and it’s phenomenal.
It was one of the most special moments because I really enjoyed that trip, also, Harry remembered that when Harry was 12 years old they visited a similar park where he ran so that his mother could catch him. In addition, the energy that is transmitted in Safari Premium is of another level. Later, we crossed in the red dunes, we were very distracted and we did not stop laughing when one of us fell.
During one morning, we contacted the tourist to continue touring wonderful places in Dubai. We arrived cruise Dubai Creek, it is located right in the heart of the city of Dubai, the most modern city and with the most projection of the United Arab Emirates.
In this traditional area, we board the wooden Arab dhow, where we take a night cruise. How wonderful it was to be so close to the sea at night and see the reflection of the lights in the sea.
A wonderful experience to enjoy the sights and sounds of the Dubai Creek and have a beautiful view of the illuminated city, while we sail around the abras, water taxis.
In the traditional wooden Arab dhow, converted into a floating restaurant, we enjoyed a buffet dinner during the cruise.
Dinner consisted of local food such as hummus, moutabel, and salads such as fattoush and tabouleh. Not forgetting pasta, chicken, beef, lamb and fish as main dishes. Finishing with a flan, cake and/or fruit, including water, coffee and tea, a 4-star catering. What a delicious experience, in the end we contemplated the sea.
We also had the opportunity to visit the Dubai Mall Aquarium, from the ground floor and rising three more floors of the Dubai Mall, is the Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo.
It is one of the most surprising scenarios we saw in the city, made up of 10 million liters of water and more than 70 marine species.
We appreciate all the marine beauty like never before, because you have several options to entertain yourself and never forget your trip to Dubai.
Among the activities we did was to observe the swim with sharks or the boat ride with a glass floor, in which we felt part of the ocean.
It was very extraordinary to be so close to the aquatic animals, it was certainly very amazing that we felt that we were immersed in the sea. I will never forget this experience, since we were also able to feed the fish.
Days later, the tourist guide told us that we could not leave Dubai without going to Burj Al Arab beach, a beautiful island that every day, at sunset, the beach becomes the setting worthy of a postcard in which the Burj Al Arab’s grandeur is enveloped in the golden colors of sunset reflected in the calm waters of the gulf. What I loved most about this beach is that it is divided into two parts: one for surfers and one for tourists who want to relax. In the latter you can find showers and changing rooms while you get a spectacular view. Harry managed to surf comfortably, I tried but although fear invaded me I enjoyed the experience.
In addition, this fantastic beach has an athletics and exercise track, because it never hurts to get in shape and even more so if you are on one of the best beaches in Dubai. How nice it was to be at the Burj Al Arab beach, it was one of my favorite places and I will never forget that great experience.
