Hello girls, how are you? Lucy greets you here. We meet again to continue discovering new horizons of this wonderful world. I tell you that at the birthday celebration of Fiorella, an old childhood friend, we had a reunion with great study friends after a long time, it was an occasion to remember great moments of our stage as students. One of them, very special indeed for Fiorella and me, was Theresa, a mutual friend from our younger years who became a sister because of her great support in bad times. Between laughter and anecdotes of our lives we shared a good time, at that moment I remembered my spectacular trips and all the journey I have made; And what do you know, it was the perfect occasion to light up Theresa’s mind, as she comes up with the brilliant idea of organizing a trip around the world. Of course, when my friend mentioned the word «travel» my smile was huge, it’s inevitable and Fiorella liked the idea, but the question of which country to visit arose.

While she was reviewing my travel agenda that I take to all the places, I observed and mentioned that she had an Asian country as her next destination, however, she had not yet defined it. Theresa got excited and said loudly “If we go to Thailand?” It was such an epic moment that Fiorella and I looked at each other quickly and ended up laughing. Theresa’s proposal fascinated me, because going to Thailand was going to be a new adrenaline rush for my life. We immediately gave the positive to the trip and booked the ticket for this new direction through the airlines, but even without knowing specifically which city to visit.

Days later, Fiorella calls me and tells me that her cousin Jack, an Internationalist by profession, happened to be in Thailand for a week for work reasons. He was perfect to manage the accommodation and also that he was our guide in that wonderful country. It is important to always investigate and know well the country to be visited to avoid inconveniences, in that case we went under the advice of the great Jack. The days passed and we prepared our great trip, until it was time to take off to Thai lands.

A long trip, but finally we were at the Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport, our faces did not stop reflecting a giant smile of knowing that new horizon. While Jack was passing us he was reading a brochure that they gave us on the plane about various cities in Thailand, one of them that caught my attention was Surat Thani.

Surat Thani, is a city in southern Thailand, is the largest province in southern Thailand, on the western coast of the Gulf of Thailand. Surat Thani means «City of Good People», Surat Thani is identified by its natural charm along the Tapi River and is surrounded by spectacular scenery and natural beauty. Surat Thani province has few renowned islands that host parties and events visited by thousands of tourists from all over the world and the beaches of Surat Thani are clean and the water is crystal clear and various sports activities take place along the beach.

Instantly Jack came for us, as we got into the car he asked us what specific city we wanted to visit? Of course, do not hesitate for a second and tell him Surat Thani, Jack laughs and tells us that years ago he had the opportunity to visit that province and loved it, everyone accepted the request and Surat would be our place of adventure in Thailand.

We arrived at Surat in the midday hours. The architecture of Thailand is fascinating without a doubt, before arriving at the beach club that Jack knew he did not stop observing every detail and of course photographing every moment for the memory. On the occasion that Jack traveled to Surat Thani he enjoyed his stay at Coco Tam’s, under his recommendation and his spectacular details about the site we could not miss the moment to visit.

Arriving at Coco Tam’s was wonderful, the heat of the afternoon was already felt on our body for being a coastal area. The entrance to this beach club is fabulous, they welcomed us with a sour orange juice to refresh us, the first thing we did was see the beautiful sea and before eating we went to take a bath, it is a phenomenal beach.

What a great place Coco Tam’s is, we take a seat in their restaurant and enjoy a delicious Tom Yum Goong, it is one of the most famous Thai soups, since it is spicy and is served with prawns, chili, tomato, lime, mushrooms… It is eaten hot and its flavor is quite intense. A comforting dish like no other.

After that fabulous lunch I watched as the incredible chaotic madness ensues at Coco Tam’s, tourists go out in the afternoon until midnight. While we waited for one of the most anticipated fire shows that were going to be presented in the venue, we tasted some absolutely phenomenal pizzas, delicious ingredients and excellent drinks, as well as super friendly service. At exactly nine o’clock at night the fantastic fire event was held, where acrobatics with fire dumbbells were shown, without a doubt that show was very fascinating, after that the tourists continued on the beach, it was the moment where the rumba was activated at sea.

It was a great moment where we danced in the sea until dawn accompanied by small shots of whiskey and the music was fantastic. At night, the lights reflected on the beach were wonderfully appreciated and how beautiful it was.

After that fabulous night of welcome, we had not rested at all, before going in search of a hotel we had breakfast at the beach club a typical Thai dish, it was a rice called Jok with cooked chicken or pork, seasoned with garlic, soy, ginger and shrimp. All this accompanied by an egg and pickled cucumber, the first time I tried this exotic dish, however it was delicious, a little spicy due to the ginger but in the end I enjoyed it.

Without a doubt we recharged our energies with that great breakfast, we left the beach club with an immense joy of being able to enjoy that first day in Thailand, despite the sleep our spirits were high. Jack, had already located the hotel that would make our stay, Fiorella, Theresa and I were eager to see the place.

Meet Boutique Resort was the 3-star hotel that welcomed us, a beautiful executive hotel with an elegant structure. After doing our pre-registration, we went to see our beautiful rooms. I asked for a beautiful Deluxe room, its gigantic bed and a beautiful view of the garden, fresh and harmonious colors made me feel relaxed from the first moment. Also, a beautiful shower with bathtub and water timer.

We were all exhausted and decided to take a short nap to continue enjoying this great adventure through this exotic country in Asia.

I woke up in the afternoon, already with a thousand expectations to continue enjoying. At that moment I went out to the garden of my room and observed the beautiful pool, it was the right time to go take a dip, Fiorella just woke up and we left, since the boys still did not answer our call to go out.  The pool was inside various plants to cool the place, the ceramics of the pool is a powerful blue, which made it look like a sea.

While we were contemplating the sky, the hotel waiter came to us with a delicious tangerine and lemon juice. I felt so spectacular! which was ideal for tanning, instantly Jack and Theresa arrived at the pool area to continue sharing. Near the pool there was a gym, we did not hesitate to go to train and mark our figures for a few minutes, it is one of the peculiarities that the hotel offers, the opportunity for tourists to continue with training routines and it was sensational because the trainer indicated each exercise to be executed.

Meet Boutique Resort is fantastic, at night we went to the bar and restaurant, there were artists with instruments to play beautiful melodies, of course, it was time to ask my other great friend, and I’m sure you know who she is ; Well, to my friend the glass of champagne, it was such a funny moment because everyone laughed at my idea and that I could never miss my champagne. It was a great night, every moment we enjoyed the expectations increased to continue getting to know the great Thailand.

On a morning with the radiant sun and a fresh and welcoming atmosphere, while we had breakfast, Theresa sees through social networks a sanctuary that caught her attention, she immediately observed it and transmitted a great spirituality to me through the screen, immediately We told Jack about how to get to that fabulous sanctuary, of course Jack accepted our request and it didn’t take us an hour to get ready to go on this new tour.

We arrive at the spectacular Sanctuary, which is named after the pillar of the city of Surat Thani. It is one of the oldest and most famous Buddhist temples in Surat Thani province, located in the center of the city and built in the Thai style. This large sanctuary is located near the Tapi River in the center of a square with a well-kept garden. It is open to visitors with no entrance fee and is a place in Thailand with few tourists.

Without a doubt, the Sanctuary of the pillar was a more special moment for me, because the religious culture that is breathed here is too gratifying. It was a special moment to remember my beloved,  it is no secret to anyone that in each of my trips I take him with me through a small photograph, and at that moment it was propitious to take the image out of my backpack and maintain a connection with him. through prayer.

Despite being a Buddhist temple, you feel the giant connection where peace, faith and tranquility are transmitted. When I finished my spiritual moment, various and curious rites were started by the Buddhists who were in the sanctuary, it was so impressive to see and hear how they recited the mantras, these are sacred sounds in Sanskrit that are «sound symbols» of enlightenment. They are normally recited at the end of a ceremony. It was a great time and discovering that culture.

The experiences in Thailand were becoming more and more fantastic, without a doubt, Jack organized a wonderful travel tour through this wonderful Asian country. For several days we went on a great adventure. It was super charming!

One of the unforgettable experiences was visiting the Khao Sok National Park, it is a very beautiful nature reserve in the south of Thailand, which has a dense virgin forest, quartz formations that look like towers and the Cheow Lan artificial lake. It is home to rare species such as the giant parasitic flower Rafflesia and tigers. In the park we were able to explore on elephant safaris, hiking trails and rafting, canoeing or kayaking down the Sok River. Being so close to this fresh water was very beautiful, it is a water with a high temperature due to the large number of plants that grow they find in their surroundings.

When we got out of the canoes, we sat on some hangers to enjoy the fresh air near the bamboo that decorated the surroundings of the park, and sometimes we contemplated the beautiful koalas that live there. It was a magnificent and spectacular trip. Without a doubt, I was enchanted with these landscapes and the experience was phenomenal.

I couldn’t leave Thailand without taking his wonderful memories with me in tangible form, which is why Jack took us on a tour of an impressive market on the water. It has a cold and dark entrance, since it has the representation of a tunnel with bamboos.

It was inevitable that Fiorella and I bought some giant blankets to cover ourselves from the cold, in addition, the infinite variety of handmade decorations on Buddhas, paintings and exotic flowers.

This place was so impressive because few markets combine ephemeral products, fresh fruits, fish, food and colorful bouquets of flowers, with culture, chaos and tradition like this floating market, Jack told us that it is the largest and last floating market left in Thailand.

It is an authentic space that has fascinated us and many tourists from around the world with its vividly colored scenes of vendors offering wares from long-tail boats on the green canal.

I fell in love with Thailand! It is famous for its spectacular landscapes. Among them, some curious rock formations emerge from the sea creating a very beautiful combination. The bay formed in the Andaman Sea by the island of Phuket and the mainland, in addition to the Phi Phi islands, concentrates some of the places where the landscapes are so extraordinary that they seem unreal.

Railay beach has limestone walls that rise directly from a sea the color of precious stones, between emerald, turquoise and aquamarine depending on the time of day, the whole is something to be seen to be believed. This trip was a great experience because I love knowing the different presentations of salt water in different parts of the world, during my stay in Thailand I wanted to know a beach, and Railay was the lucky one to know its spaces.

It is a beautiful and calm sea, perfect to lie down on the sand and feel the little ones alone on our feet.

The nightlife in Surat Thani in Thailand is reputed to be one of the most vibrant and unbridled in the world, a reputation that is more than justified. Without a doubt, it is capable of amply satisfying the tastes and needs of anyone, whatever they may be.

It was correct not to miss the rumbas that are made in Thailand, something that caught my attention is that in this country the nightlife is very striking, where people go out to buy accessories, taste street dishes and of course, visit the best clubs in town.

This time the place to dance all night was the Sugar Club Phuket, it is a super sensational nightclub where they do various shows, and our days in Thailand were coming to an end for us, however Jack would stay for a few more days for security reasons job.

In this way, it was the perfect moment for Theresa, Fiorella and I to enjoy the night and have a great time, it was already approaching midnight and the VIP area was opened for all public, obviously we got closer and I was able to taste Singha Light, it is a rich typical Thai beer.

It was an extremely fun night, we danced until dawn and shared with Thai people who were at Sugar Club Phuket, without a doubt it is a great place to dance, drink and enjoy with friends.

Wow! What a great memory I took from Thailand, a very peculiar country in its culture, treatment, gastronomy and landscapes. It was a wonderful experience to set foot in this great country, when it was time to board the plane I did not tire of thanking Jack for all his attention and tour of Surat Thani, it was an opportunity to meet and of course share them with each of my wonderful readers.

Remember, be encouraged to travel, every reader who is currently learning about my journey through Thailand and is curious about these adventures, so do it. I will remember Thailand as each of my trips, since each episode of a trip is particular and I live different experiences. In Thailand I got to know its spectacular landscapes and its great biodiversity, I can only say what a sensational experience!
